The finest musicians are often the ones whose artistry is measured not by how loudly they play, but by the company they keep.

Cuban bassist Manuel Orza has spent decades performing alongside some of the most celebrated names in jazz. A graduate of Havana’s prestigious Amadeo Roldán Conservatory, Orza has shared the stage with artists including Roy Hargrove, Ravi Coltrane, Arturo Sandoval, Herbie Hancock, Horacio “El Negro” Hernández, Michel Portal, Robby Ameen, Giovanni Hidalgo, and many others, earning a reputation as one of the most respected bassists of his generation.

For this special Burrow Session, the Manuel Orza East Coast Quartet brings together an exceptional lineup of musicians: David Fernández on saxophone, Tal Cohen on piano, Rey Monroig on drums, and Manuel Orza on bass. Together, they present an evening of contemporary jazz defined by lyricism, interplay, and the freedom of improvisation.

An intimate performance where every note reminds us that jazz is, above all, a conversation.

Door opens at 8 PM, show starts promptly at 9 PM. Seating is assigned on a first come,  first serve basis and aligned to the social nature of our salon, you may be requested to share your table with other guests.
