Cinema Salon. The Red Violin
Music as Passion
Can something created in a single lifetime carry the passion of many?
The Red Violin follows one extraordinary instrument across centuries, continents, and generations—from its creation in 17th-century Italy through the lives of those who possess it. With each new chapter, the violin becomes an object of beauty, desire, obsession, and devotion, carrying something of every person it touches.
Elegant, mysterious, and sweeping in scope, The Red Violin is a meditation on our need to create—and on how what we pour ourselves into can continue its journey long after we are gone.
