The Burrow Session No. 25 - The French Swing Collective

Led by Paris-born trumpeter, guitarist and vocalist Vincent Raffard, the French Swing Collective (@thefrenchswingcollective) brings together the elegance of French chanson, the rhythmic drive of Gypsy jazz and the unmistakable swing of the American jazz tradition.

Drawing inspiration from the cafés and jazz clubs of Paris to the music of Django Reinhardt, Fats Waller and Duke Ellington, the Collective moves between French songs, reimagined jazz standards and original compositions—music rooted in another era, but very much alive in the present.

Raffard has spent more than two decades performing and recording, from the stages of Paris to South Florida, where he has built a rotating collective of international musicians around a shared language of improvisation, rhythm and swing.

For one night, The Burrow becomes a little more Parisian.

Door opens at 8 PM, show starts promptly at 9 PM.
